About Mukeï
The first intangible asset valuation platform built for French professionals.
The problem
80% of the value, not a single line on the balance sheet
Brands, code, patents, know-how: these assets now carry most of a company's value. Yet they appear nowhere in its accounts.
The day a figure is needed - a fundraising, a sale, a contribution in kind, a tax audit - the owner has two options: put forward a number they cannot defend, or pay a major firm tens of thousands of euros.
Between the two, there was nothing.

Where we stand
A value you cannot explain is worth nothing
A valuation delivered as a single figure, without the calculation behind it, does not survive the first serious question - from a buyer, an investor, or the tax authorities.
We built Mukeï on the opposite principle: every step of the calculation is shown, every assumption is named, every source is cited. You do not receive a result, you receive the reasoning that produces it.
Where it started
It all began with an Excel workbook
Before it was a platform, the Mukeï method was a spreadsheet. A workbook built engagement after engagement, refined with every case, until it spanned thirty-one tabs and close to eight thousand formulas.
It produced sound valuations. But a spreadsheet cannot be reviewed: no one sees that a formula has been overwritten, that a reference dataset is two years old, that a link points nowhere. It took months to discover that a sector mapping was wrong - and it had been wrong the whole time.
That realisation is what gave rise to the application. Not to replace the method, but to give it what a spreadsheet never could: tests that fail loudly when a calculation drifts, a history of every change, and a legible trail for whoever will have to defend the figure.
The workbook says which formula is right. The application makes sure it stays that way.
Our commitments
What you can verify yourself
Stated values commit no one. Here is what we hold ourselves to, phrased so that you can check it.
The calculation is open
Every intermediate step is displayed and exportable in the report. No result arrives without the path that leads to it.
15 documented methods
Assumptions are named
Discount rate, duration, royalty rate, inflation: every parameter is visible, adjustable, and its source is cited.
INSEE, ECB and Banque de France sources
The result is a range
Never a single figure. A low value, a retained value, a high value - because a valuation is an estimate, not a measurement.
Systematic sensitivity analysis
The report stands on its own
Designed to be handed to a third party: investor, buyer, statutory auditor, tax authorities. It has to hold up without you.
In line with French tax practice
The team
The founders
A valuation method without engineering remains a spreadsheet. Software without a valuation practitioner produces figures no one can defend. Mukeï exists because the two met.
